🚀 Installation & Deployment

To set up this project locally or on a production server:

Prerequisites

• PHP 7.4 or higher (PHP 8.1+ recommended)
• MySQL 5.7+ or MariaDB 10.3+
• Apache or Nginx web server

Setup Steps

1. Clone the Repository

   git clone https://github.com/remon-romany-dev/sme-insights.git

2. Configure Environment

   • Copy wp-config-sample.php to wp-config.php.
   • Update database credentials:

     define( 'DB_USER', 'your_database_user' );
     define( 'DB_PASSWORD', 'your_database_password' );

3. Install Dependencies

   • This project includes all necessary plugins in /wp-content/plugins/.
   • No npm install or composer install is required for the production build.

4. Finalize Setup

   • Access the site URL.
   • Log in to wp-admin.
   • Ensure the SME Insights Theme is active.
