Split API content into focused pages under docs/source/api, update navigation and links, and configure docs formatting to preserve mkdocstrings directives in API pages.
Use one mkdocstrings directive per symbol and unescape module names so hookspec objects render correctly with zensical.
Add docs-specific documentation guidelines and create docs/CLAUDE.md as a symlink to docs/AGENTS.md.
Add stable glossary anchors and cross-link key conceptual terms throughout tutorials, guides, explanations, and reference pages.
