Lets simply remove it for now. We can add it later when the maintainer reply to your message. |

It's nice to see that the website is receiving some love through this year's hackathon! In regard to the following files, do we have any licence information (as per #2706):

No information. see commit.
There's https://github.com/niochat/nio/blob/stable/Resources/AppIcon/attribution.txt in the Resources folder. However, it doesn't say to which icons it applies. Plus, there are many "chat" icons in the Noun Project. see commit.
Nothing mentioned. see commit. |

@dannycolin are you still planning on addressing the feedback or should we take this over? |
I can update it. I wasn't sure if it was still worth based on the discussion we had that we need a better solution to classify clients. |
|
I would welcome contributions to finding better classifications but in the meantime continue with the currently established pattern and not block on this. |

What should we do for the client icons if there's no license information? See #3183 (comment) |

Quoted from a previous comment:
Good question. I asked the author (@davidar) to shed some light on this issue back in January 2026 (see this comment), and I haven't received a response as of writing this comment. I wonder if we should simply exclude content that isn't explicitly licensed. Any thoughts? |
I had the same thought. If we don't have the license to use something then obviously we cannot use it. Reaching out to authors is already going the extra mile. Given these are all obsolete, I wouldn't expect too much of a reaction either, nor is it quite as relevant as a supported client as obsoletes will be hidden by default. |

Quoted from a previous comment:
Upon review, (unless I'm missing something) we cannot use the Tensor or Neo logos because each project is licensed under GPL‑3.0. As for Nio, the logo’s licence is unclear, so let’s play it safe and exclude it as well. |
