+# How to change the branch of your Valheim server

+## Available Branches

+Selecting a hidden branch (for example `public-test`) is not possible. You can use the original branch by leaving the `Steam Beta Branch` field empty.

+## Steps
+
+1. Go to the `Settings` of your Valheim server in the dashboard.
+2. At the bottom you will find the input field `Steam Beta Branch`.
+   - Enter the name of the branch under `Steam Beta Branch`.
+3. **Reinstall the server**
+   - Click the `three-dot menu` of your server next to the `Update` button.
+   - Select "Reinstall".

+## Schritte
+
+1. Wechsel zu den `Einstellungen` deines Valheim-Servers im Dashboard.
+2. Du findest im unteren Bereich nun das EIngabefeld `Steam Beta Branch`.
+    - Trage unter `Steam Beta Branch` den Namen des Branches ein.
+3. <b>Installiere den Server neu</b>
+    - Klicke auf das `Drei-Punkte-Menü` deines Servers, neben dem `Updaten`-Button.
+    - Wähle "Neuinstallieren" aus.
