Random Rants + is the goofy, chaotic hangout spot for friends to escape reality and enter the world of the internet. Whether you're bored in class or just need a burst of chaos, this is where you belong.

• Gvbvdxx (Jason Glen Evans): The lead dev. Former Scratcher (banned for too many chat sites—oops!), obsessed with code, and currently developing on a school Chromebook using online IDEs because I'm grounded. I sacrificed homework so you could have this site. 💻
• MOP 3000 (Im_CatmanYT): The visionary. Met him IRL; he came up with the idea for Random Rants. He’s a 2D animation wizard. 🎨

This isn't your average corporate chat app. It started as a way for middle schoolers to escape the school filter and has evolved into a feature-packed hangout hub.

• Video & Voice Chat: Scream loud and make goofy faces.
• Screen Sharing: Only one share per room—prepare for battles over who controls the screen.
• Soundboard: Meme sounds and goofy noises synced for everyone. Warning: Watch your volume!
• File Uploads: Memes, cursed content, whatever—drop it in.
• Interactive Media: A virtual TV where anyone can plug in content, including:

• Chat Commands: Use ;help to see what power you have.

• No Filters: We don't censor any user content. It’s simple as that.
• Room Control: The room creator (Owner) is the ultimate boss. They can grant "Ownership" to others. Owners can ban, block, or clear chat.
• Unlisted Rooms: Every room is private by default. Share the URL, Quick Join code, or invite by username.

Everyone who signs up gets a profile. It's unlisted but visible when you join a room:

• Username: Locked once you sign up—it's how we identify you.
• Display Names: Nicknames with almost any character/emoji. Change it any time.
• User Colors & Fonts: Make your name pop in the chat.
• Profile Picture: Identify yourself with whatever image you want.

• The Bored: People looking for a fun way to talk online.
• The Escapists: Students needing a break from schoolwork.
• The Chaotic: Anyone who enjoys small bursts of internet madness.

• Privacy: Video/Audio streams go straight through WebRTC. No "sus" servers are watching your face or screen.
• Environment: Developed largely on a Chromebook using devboxes. ChatGPT and Google Gemini helped polish the code, but the heart of the project is hand-written.
• Teen Humor: This place was made by middle schoolers, for middle schoolers. Humor varies; if something feels too "sus" or not for you, you can always hop out of the room.
