Initial Steps

Ok, it looks like there's some interest in this effort, so now the fun part ... what to do? I think @jamescowie suggested starting to catalog things, so maybe we should start there?

Thoughts, ideas, suggestion, comments?

I'm wondering if it would be better to create a stand-alone repository and have it power a website powered by Github Pages and that way PRs could come in and update the site?

I'm converting this into a Github Pages - powered site, and will begin putting together an outline for sections and possibly some initial content. I'm open to discussion, but will be moving forward to keep momentum going.
