Can we stop the mouse click event in slider and allow only drag ?

Is it possible to stop the single click event in slider and allow it work only in drag event ?

It is the standard user behaviour to select a value from a range slider through a mouse click a keyboard or a touch event. Without a mouse click, I am not sure what you are trying to achieve.

Could you please explain in more detail your problem?
Are you working with normal slider (1) or fixed handle type (2)?
