Tab bar and ios 26

Seems most components already work fine on ios 26 liquid glass except the bottom tabs bar. Any plans to make it ios compatible?

@blitzbohne Yes it is still maintained. To answer your original question, we rely on @react-navigation/bottom-tabs and expo router for out bottom tab bars. We expect them to bridge the liquid glass barrier. Out of curiosity, knowing this, what do you expect to be the ideal experience as far as liquid glass support? My view is, if the users of your app are running iOS 26, then the app experience should show the liquid glass bottom bar, otherwise it should show the previous generation's bottom bar.
