When I try to check my balance on the test network or overview I get this issue. I'm using btcli 9.18.1 on ubuntu. But everything works on finney/mainnet.

That's because you're using the main release on testnet. Use https://pypi.org/project/bittensor-cli/9.19.0rc2/
