The hardware user button on the SX1262 /Xiao nrf 52840/ does not work

The hardware user button on the SX1262 /Xiao nrf 52840/ does not work.
Is it supposed to be supported in the fw as USER BUTTON1?

On v1.12 using the BLE companion firmware for "Seeed Studio Xiao nRF52 WIO" I can successfully use the pushbutton for power up/down.

It doesn't work for me, according to the FW, pressing twice will play an advert, pressing three will turn the buzzer on/off, pressing long will cause hibernation, none of that works...
