Graphical issues on Simulink Root Inport Mapper

Summary

Hello All,

There are graphical issues when using Inport Mapper in Simulink (see attached screenshot) that makes this tool hard to use.
I tested it by following this example: https://www.mathworks.com/help/simulink/ug/map-data-using-root-inport-mapper-tool.html

Would be great if you could fix this.

Hi @Kubadrew

Do you see the same behavior when using:

1. MATLAB running directly on your machine? (ie: without matlab-proxy)
2. MATLAB Online

I'm trying to understand if this is an issue in the matlab-proxy version or if this is an issue in general with the Simulink Root Inport Mapper

Or are you referring to the missing icons on the toolstrip for buttons like "Open , Save" etc?

Hi @Kubadrew ,

Thank you for reporting this issue and for trying out matlab-proxy. I was able to reproduce the issue on my Linux machine using MATLAB R2025b.

I have notified our development team, and we are continuing to investigate the issue.

As a workaround, you can set MWI_BASE_URL value to / while starting matlab-proxy

env MWI_BASE_URL=/ matlab-proxy-app
