3s delay when open Terminal (IEP-1638)

When opening the Terminal,
there is a 3-5s delay until one see the Boot Message.

how to fix this ?

Hi @franz-ms-muc Could you share more details about your environment - ESP target, ESP-IDF version, OS, etc.?

I tested with a couple of boards I have, but couldn't reproduce the issue. Is this a recurring issue, or does it occur intermittently under specific conditions?

Also, check if you have any antivirus software running in the background.

Was not able to reproduce. Some users report the issue is gone with ESP-IDF v6.0
