[BUG] - App crashes when opening.

Description

When opening the app the main screen displays for about 1 second then immediately crashes.

Current fix for me was to remove all customized quick menu items with the exception of recently added and recently released. Now it loads without crashing.

What do you mean by this? Do you mean rows on the home page or something?

Yes, on the homepage. I tested it further it seems that when you add "Recently Added Performers" to the customize homepage it crashes. I have four different custom filters that are scenes only related filters and it does not currently crash.

Hmm, I have a "Recently Added Performers" on mine and no issues. I'll review the code again, but if there's any chance you can capture the crash and share the logs, that would be very helpful!

I have the Same Issue, Same Stash Server and Stash Android TV Version. However i Use a Sony Bravia TV with Android TV 12. It starts up at Homescrenn, only an empty Overlay is to be seen and then it Crashes. Attached the Crashlog, A Humongus Amount of SQL Queries.

I have the sam eproblem on a firestick. The app was only installed today and crashes after about 5 seconds of opening. Don't get chance to see anything. This is the error I see in the logs

I think this might be fixed by #786.

It would be great if someone can try installing StashAppAndroidTV-release.apk from https://github.com/damontecres/StashAppAndroidTV/releases/tag/develop which includes the change.

@damontecres using the dev branch[823bbbb] does not correct the issue at least for me. however i will note it was working fine for me yesterday and nothing has changed since it was working except adding/removing content but the home screen removal (mentioned here) does work. Im not sure its the same issue for me since it just started but should at least be related.

@damontecres I deleted all scene filters from my Stash instances. Today I wanted to try out the dev branch, but first I tested the stable version 8.2.0 again. At first, just like before, I got the error message with the option to send the crash log. After confirming the pop-up, I was finally able to log in again and navigate through the app. I tried playing videos and using other features. I was unable to reproduce the crash either at startup or within the app.

Unfortunately, that log did not capture the actual crash.

The crash doesn't occur every time you open the app?

I'm sorry all. I haven't managed to reproduce this crash at all, which makes fixing it incredibly difficult.
