ops: node installers/packages (Windows/MSI, macOS, Ubuntu) #235
Description
Goal
Make it easy for non-technical users to install and run a Catalyst node on major platforms.
Scope
- Packaging strategy and CI outputs:
- Windows: MSI or signed installer
- macOS: Homebrew formula and/or signed DMG
- Ubuntu: Snap and/or apt repo package
- Include sane defaults + config path conventions
- One-command start/stop and log access
- Documentation for operators
Acceptance criteria
- A new user can install and start a node on each platform in <10 minutes
- Release artifacts are versioned and reproducible (tie into release: reproducible builds + upgrade compatibility policy #207)
- Operator docs explain configuration, ports, and updating
