configure script missing and autgen.sh fails

First, the configure script is not in the zip file.
Then I try autogen.sh and get:
configure.ac:90: error: possibly undefined macro: AC_BINDLE_LIBTOOL_VERSION_INFO
Tried on ubuntu 22.04 and 16.04 (because I had it!)

Well, I cloned the source and then autogen.sh worked.
After getting flex/bison... it built!
But leaving open since the zip file does not appear to be correct.
