Bug Description

i can still join from 26.1.1 but just not 1.21.11

Steps to Reproduce

1.download viabackwards from modrinth
2.download viaversion from modrinth
3.add it to your 26.1.1 paper server with java 26
4.join on 1.21.11

Additional Server Info

i used paper and java 26 with only viabackwards and via version.
