Describe your enhancement suggestion in more detail

Tint masks, via $tintmasktexture or otherwise, should be able to affect $vertexcolor in the same way they currently affect the rendercolor and $color parameters of a material. This would allow unique effects for stuff like particles that use $vertexcolor to tint things
