Unable to adjust timer #8

Hello there,
Nice project! I have your project uploaded and breadboarded. Everything is working except that I am unable to modify the timer on either single or double brew. I am able to change from single to double brew with a turn of the rotary switch. However, when I push the button, and turn it while pushed, it simply stays at 99.9; mo timer adjustment. Also, when I push the start button, it doesn’t count down from 99.9, but rather says 0.00 when I push and release.
I have tried 2 nanos and two rotary switches to try and rule out hardware error and it acts the same.
My apologies about the bother. I am not a programmer and wondering if you have ever seen this issue.
