Basemap Slider

This should be a challenge! We would like to see if it is possible to recreate the basemap slider in the new LABINS, working much like the slider did at the top right of the screen in the older version.
Do you think you'll have time to look into it? :)

perhaps an OK start would be to just put opacity slider bars in the basemap selection panel.

I can see a number of problems with this. Now you can choose from a list of basemaps. This is good. The slider example just assumes two layers -- and note, they are not basemaps, just regular layers. Once you have basemaps at least one is turned on at all times. Yes we could add a white / null map as a basemap but I can see this getting confusing to the user as to how to use this option pretty quickly.

I think we will consider this one tabled for now but I want close it in case something surfaces in the next 5 months (June 20210)
