✨[Feature Request] Cosmetic effects around riftways

It would make the ambience feel a lot more magical if there were some unusual things happening around riftway portals.

Here's some ideas for that:

• Fog changes color and density (dense atmosphere)
• A minecraft/custom soundtrack starts playing (an eerie or low pitch song)
• Some particles can be seen around the portal (like ash floating)
• Mabye even if enabled in the config, specific entities could spawn around the portal
• If it's raining, lightning would try to strike near the portal

Also, please update to 1.20 🥺

As for the cosmetic stuff, yes cool ideas. For the more gameplay-adjacent things instead i'm not too sure. Anyway, it will be a while before I can come back to work on this project, sorry! (There would also be a lot of things to compleatly rework, starting with how date is stored in the portal and how players are sent to servers etc)

It was heartwarming when I found this mod, it was a dream come true, I've always wanted to travel between servers!
But I understand that you might not be able to work on this mod. But I hope that you can get back on this sometime in the future. And when you can, please update it to the latest versions and get the technical behind-the-scenes stuff working butter-smooth!
