Support for LoopingLayoutManager for GridLayoutManager?
Proposal - Possible can create a LoopingGridLayoutManager by subclassing GridLayoutManager
Alternative - Else, can provide the Grid type support in LoopingLayoutManager

That sounds like a fun feature request! But sadly, I'm currently busy with other projects, so I won't be able to work on it right now.
