Feature Request: Embeds should be linked in resulting post #3003

What
When using the YouTube embed functionality of Wordpress to add a video to a blog post, the resulting post (at least when viewed on Mastodon) will contain the URL to the embedded video just as text.
It should be formatted as an actual link instead, at least optionally.
I assume the same is true for other embeds, but haven't tested this myself.
Why
Formatting the URL as a link would allow it to be interpreted by the platform/app presenting the resulting status to users. A link to a YouTube video could for example by presented as that video directly in the timeline. At the very least, a clickable link would be preferable to text that the user would have to manually copy/paste to watch the video.
