Question: current QuantVLA recipe does not work on our GR00T N1.5 LIBERO spatial checkpoints

Hi, thanks for open-sourcing QuantVLA.

We tried the current GR00T QuantVLA recipe on our own GR00T N1.5 checkpoints and found that it does not work as expected on our side.

The checkpoints we tested are:

• RLinf/RLinf-Gr00t-RL-Spatial-Step400
• RLinf/RLinf-Gr00t-SFT-Spatial

Both are GR00T N1.5 checkpoints for LIBERO spatial.

Could you clarify whether the current QuantVLA recipe is expected to generalize to arbitrary GR00T N1.5 LIBERO checkpoints, or whether it depends on a specific posttrain checkpoint / calibration setup?

Hi, thanks for your interest.

Our recommendation is to use the official GR00T N1.5 LIBERO posttrain checkpoint provided in the repo. The current QuantVLA recipe was built around that setup, and we have not validated custom checkpoints.
